Michael A. Auricchio
Founder & Chairman of the Board
Mike first entered the insurance business as a claims adjuster in 1958, in 1961 he transitioned over to the sales side of the insurance business. First as a life insurance salesman then adding property and casualty a few years later. After working as a salesperson and an executive VP at one of WNY's largest agencies, he founded Auricchio Insurance under the corporate name of Michael A. Auricchio, Inc. in 1977. From a start up agency, he grew the business to what is annually one of the top 25 agencies in WNY. After more than 58 years in the insurance industry Mike retired on his 80th birthday in 2015.

After earning a BS in Marketing from Canisius College, Michael entered the insurance industry in 1984 working for Mass Mutual. He joined the agency in 1986. Michael has earned a number of industry honors and recognition, starting right off the bat with the "Fast Start" award at Mass Mutual. He earned the "Blue Ribbon Award for Aetna as a member of the top 10% producers of Aetna's home office (six weeks) school in 1990.
He has continued his studies in coursework in programs like:CLU, CPCU and CIC. In his 35+ years in the industry he has held a number of industry leadership positions. Has served on three different Insurance Carriers Agents Advisory Boards and was the President of the WNY Users Group for the agency software system that the agency still uses today.
Active in the community he has volunteered on many community organizations, from being a youth coach in soccer and softball, to Commisioner of OP Little League Softball. He is a past president of Canisius High School Alumni Board, past president of board of the WNY Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF). He also served on the Canisius High School Board of Trustees and the JDRF National Walk Committee.

Bonnie Hannon
Director of Accounting
Bonnie joined the agency in 1978 and has held her broker license since 1982. While Bonnie's primary responsibilities are in accounting, Bonnie's vast insurance experience allows her to step in to help the rest of the staff when needed.

Maureen Mahoney
Commercial Lines Account Manager
Maureen first joined Auricchio Insurance in 1989 as a commercial lines account associate. Now as a Commercial Lines Account Manager she is a member of the Commercial Lines Customer Service Team and is our Bond Specialist. Maureen has been part of a team that has worked on the unique exposures of accounts as small as a few hundred dollars to multimiliion dollar accounts.As part of her ongoing industry training, Maureen is a licensed insurance broker and has over 200 hours of additional insurance coursework.

Diane Roncone
Claims Customer Liasion & Workers Compensation Specialist
Diane holds an Associate Degree from Bryant and Stratton. She is also a licensed insurance broker in NY. Diane entered the Insurance Industry in 1993 and joined the agency in 1998. Diane is our Claims Manager and our Workers Compensation specialist. As your claims advocate; Diane combines her strong personal empathy with systematic reporting and follow-up procedures. Diane will help you through the entire claim process, with her goal to minimize your inconvenience and stress. As our workers compensation specialist, Diane is familiar with the unique service needs of workers compensation.
